Methodology
Planetary positions come from the Swiss Ephemeris (Astrodienst), the same high-precision library used in professional astrology software.
Vedic / sidereal calculations use the Lahiri ayanamsha, the standard most widely used in Indian astrology. Western / tropical calculations use the season-anchored zodiac.
House systems and chart options follow the selectors on each calculator page. Civil dates and clock times are interpreted in the place’s IANA time zone for that location.
Panchang limbs and muhurta windows apply classical rules (as documented in sources such as Dharmasindhu and Nirnayasindhu) to those computed positions — they are not copied from third-party tables.
